Solving Flutter Build Issue on Xcode: The sandbox is not in sync with the Podfile.lock

As a mobile app developer, we often find ourselves working with Xcode to build and publish our apps to the AppStore. However, it’s not uncommon to encounter roadblocks along the way. If you’re a Flutter developer, you may have encountered a frustrating error message that goes something like this:

The sandbox is not in sync with the Podfile.lock. 
Run 'pod install' or update your CocoaPods installation.

This error often appears when trying to build your Flutter project on Xcode. Follow these steps to get your Flutter project back on track:

1. Delete Podfile.lock
2. Launch the Terminal and navigate to the root directory of your flutter project
3. run the command below:
   1. flutter clean
   2. flutter pub get
4. navigate to the ios directory by using command
   1. cd ios
   2. pod update

flutter clean
flutter pub get
cd ios
pod update

By following these steps, you should be able to overcome the “The sandbox is not in sync with the Podfile.lock” error and get back to developing your Flutter app with Xcode.

This issue frequently happen when you make changes to your project’s dependencies. You can apply this solution again and again.
